Tacori’s personalization options offer a myriad of exquisite details so you can wear a symbol of your unique love story each and every day.

Personalization encompasses the full spectrum of ideas - from minor adjustments to existing styles, to completely custom pieces. To help you on your journey, we’ve created an easy-to-follow guide that provides all the inspo, and ultimately, help you design your dream ring.

About Diamond Cuts

The Shape Of Love

Engagement ring design begins with selecting the center stone and the overall shape effect. Dramatic, distinctive, and oh-so-elegant, each diamond shape offers unique characteristics, intricately angled and cut to allow the light to dance and reflect in prismatic perfection. The cut of the diamond is pivotal to the overall look and style of the ring, and can transition a ring from classic to contemporary, subtle to statement.

About Diamond Cuts

Statement Shapes

Fancy diamond shapes are the more unusual and unique cuts, and they’re perfect for personalization. Typical fancy shapes include the oval, emerald, pear, and marquise, each with their special blend of beauty, but you can also find other more unusual cuts including cushionradiant or heart shaped

All our engagement ring settings can be customized to fit a variety of diamond shapes, just pick your dream center stone shape with your Authorized Tacori Retail Partner, then consult our Tacori Specialists to explore all the options.

Bloom It

The fun doesn’t stop with the selection of your center-stone shape. With our Blooms - a Tacori signature effect, you can opt to surround the center-stone with a seamless blanket of diamonds to amp up the sparkle, and even create a different overall shape altogether. We offer five varieties of Blooms, each with its own aesthetic, from subtle spotlight to double and decorative design.

Inflori Bloom

Our Inflori Bloom is where the shape-shifting really comes into play. Ideal for boosting the overall carat effect, it transforms a 1 ct round diamond center into an overall table spread of a 3 ct oval or 4 ct pear shape with the added bloom effect. Choosing a bloom to create your unique fancy shape out of your classic round brilliant center is a great option to get the best of both worlds -- timeless and modern, smaller center diamond with a larger look.

And, if you’re working with an heirloom diamond, playing with the shape surrounding the center stone means you can create the exact look you’re after, while still staying true to that original stone. What’s not to love?

About Gemstone

Celebrate with Color

While going all-out for a diamonds-only look is the most popular approach to engagement ring design, you can have a lot of fun playing with color. Whether you want to include a birthstone, sentimental shade or even heirloom gemstones, there is a multitude of ways to weave vibrant color into your ring.

Center Stone Shades

Rubies, emeralds, and sapphires (think Princess Diana’s iconic oval sapphire engagement ring) all make exquisite statement center-stone options. And, you can still get that unmistakable diamond sparkle by opting to bloom it with an envelope of surrounding diamonds too.

About Ring Setting

Choose Your Metal

Selecting the metal for your engagement ring is the starting foundation. At Tacori, we offer 18k white, yellow and rose gold. And of course, our preferred choice of white metal, platinum.

About Ring Setting

Our most popular metal choice offering is white gold, which is an alloy of gold. It is made up of pure gold, mixed with alloy metals that have a silvery-white color, such as palladium and silver to ensure durability. White gold offers unparalleled beauty and sophisticated elegance.

The romantic history and the beautiful distinctive allure of warmth of yellow gold makes it a perfect choice for any engagement ring or wedding band. Yellow gold is a popular style for its timeless feel that has surpassed trends and is featured in rings ranging from antique to modern. Each yellow gold ring is solid 18k yellow gold.

At Tacori, we have a proprietary rose gold hue that gives off a beautiful warm blush hue. This romantic color sets the wearer apart with a balance of elegance and distinct sophistication. Available in solid 18k rose gold.

of course, we can’t leave out platinum, our preferred choice of white metal. Platinum is the rarest of all precious metals and it’s especially sought after for its durability and pure metal nature that makes it naturally hypoallergenic and ideal for those with sensitive skin. Withstanding wear for decades due to its density, platinum’s natural white metal won’t fade or change color over time, making your engagement ring or wedding band a great heirloom for generations to come.

Mixed Metals

Continuing in the color play options, think about mixing and matching your metals in the design of your engagement ring or in your engagement and wedding band pairings. For an engagement ring, this could include a yellow gold foundation paired with a platinum crown. Aside from the beautiful aesthetic, a platinum crown can help highlight the colorlessness of your center diamond.

Mixing your metals this way gives you the best of both worlds. Tacori Specialists can advise on the combinations that complement each other.

You’ve chosen your center stone shape and considered a diamonds-only approach or a pop of color. You’ve selected your desired metal.

What's next?

A Solid Foundation

There are two distinguished Tacori foundation styles to choose from, both with their own special features: the Classic 360 or Cathedral

The Classic 360 foundation refers to engagement rings where the prongs holding the center diamond attach to the band at a single point, creating a delicate floating effect. This particular setting puts natural emphasis on the centerpiece.

The Cathedral Foundation features a band that slopes to the edge of the center stone. Cathedral settings have a more structured feel and lends itself beautifully for more extra hidden intricacies of design.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Crown Type

Once you choose your foundation, your next step is selecting your crown. At Tacori, we offer three crown options to choose from.

Solitaire

Solitaire

The first option is the oh-so-classic, solitaire. A solitaire puts emphasis on the center diamond of choice, holding it up with 4 or 6 prongs. It is a timeless style that never goes out of style.

Crescent Fabrics

Our rings come in seven different Crescent Fabrics, each highlighting the exquisite craftsmanship and signature detail. Exclusive to Tacori, Crescent Fabrics create beauty from every angle. And, as an exclusive effect, we add a Signature Crescent on the resting point of each of our rings which can contain a tiny pavé diamond or colored stone of your choice. Sharing our fabric options below.

Classic Crescent, the original. For the lover of all things classic, this is the collection that started it all with the iconic Tacori crescents set with diamonds on the inner face of the ring. The intricate detailing of this ring creates an impactful ornate aesthetic.

Simply Tacori for the elegant and sophisticated. This collection transforms Tacori’s signature crescent into modern design elements on the inner face of each ring. If you’re looking for a “less is more” effect, this is it!

Founder’s, one of our newest fabrics that features a diamond-studded crescent signature. Designed by oru founder, Haig Tacorian, the Founder’s rings offer clean lines with the elegant simplicity of a classic solitaire.

Sculpted Crescent, this smoothly sculpted Crescent touch offers desirable tone-on-tone texture.

Coastal Crescent, begins with the Sculpted Crescent design and adds a diamond detail at the junction of each crescent.

Petite Crescent, one of our most popular ring collections, this fabric features softer, smaller Classic Crescent detailing that showcases a diamond-intense texture.

Reverse Crescent, has an open look and feel and creates a timeless crescent style. This fabric takes the Classic Crescent and inverts it to create open arcs that become windows of light.

Mix and Match

From a structural perspective, when it comes to personalizing your ring, it’s also an option to take elements from one ring design and combine it with something you love from another.

Ways to create your unique piece could include taking the crown design from one ring and pairing it with say a fabric selection from a different collection that you love most.

The inside elements of your ring can also be inscribed with meaningful messages such as a date or initials.

Allowing for you to personalize these pieces to be as minimal or statement as you like, we encourage you to dream big and explore all the options both hidden and oh-so overt.

Browse our collections, add to your Pinterest board, get planning, and when you feel ready for some expert guidance, bring all your ideas to an Authorized Tacori Retail Partner.
